Today’s New York Times reports on another drug raid gone awry. Kathryn Johnston thought criminals were breaking into her home–so she retrieved a handgun and shot at the people who were at her front door. According to the Times report, the cops involved may have lied to get the search warrant and may have lied about the shooting afterward. These incidents are far more common than most people believe, as this Cato raidmap shows.
