The Supreme Court will soon hear oral arguments in two cases regarding educational freedom.
On Tuesday, Justices will hear oral arguments in Mahmoud v. Taylor. This case is about the right of parents to opt their kids out of readings in school that violate their religious convictions. Neal McCluskey, the director of Cato’s Center for Educational Freedom, and Mustafa Akyol, a senior fellow, have commented on this topic in the past.

On April 30, Justices will hear oral arguments in St. Isidore of Seville Catholic Virtual School v. Drummond. This case focuses on whether prohibiting religious charter schools discriminates against religion. McCluskey has also written on this topic.
