Long‐range planning by government land‐use planners – while it disrespects individual choices – also gets lots of stuff wrong. Very wrong. Cato Institute Senior Fellow Randal O’Toole addressed some of the problems with long‐term land‐use planning at Cato University in Rancho Bernardo, California in July.
