You're not a libertarian; you're a liberal! Modern American liberals are more supportive of personal freedom than of economic freedom. While a libertarian may have “liberal values,” what differentiates libertarians from American liberals is that libertarians don’t believe in using laws to influence people with more conservative values, but prefer a policy of “live and let live.”

Of course, very few people will have "perfect scores" in any one direction, and you might find yourself more supportive of economic freedoms than many other liberals. Check out the new book The Libertarian Mind: A Manifesto for Freedom, and see where you agree. You might be more libertarian than you think!

We have a limited number of copies of The Libertarian Mind to give away. Every day — until the supply is depleted — we will be mailing a free copy to a lucky recipient, randomly drawn from those who complete this form.
