Tara Grove

Tara Grove is the Vinson & Elkins chair in law and professor of law at the University of Texas at Austin School of Law. She focuses her research on the federal judiciary, interpretive theory, and the constitutional separation of powers. Professor Grove has been published in prestigious law journals including the Harvard Law Review, the Columbia Law Review, and the Yale Law Journal and has received awards for both her research and teaching. In 2021, she served on the Presidential Commission on the Supreme Court of the United States, a bipartisan commission charged with examining proposals for Supreme Court reform. Grove also worked on the Princeton Initiative on Restoring the Constitutional Powers of Congress, which brought together former members of Congress, political scientists, and law professors.
