Prior to joining Cato in 2006 as director of marketing, Bob Garber served in senior marketing positions for a number of nationally recognized organizations. Before joining Cato, he was director of marketing and public information for the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. While at the Museum he directed its national and international marketing and advertising, and was responsible for its direct outreach to professional groups and constituent organizations. In addition, he served as director of marketing for the Washington Speakers Bureau. He has worked also in marketing and writer capacities for several publishing and professional training organizations during his career, including ESI International and Federal Publications Inc. He received his undergraduate degree in literature from the George Washington University.
