Kevin Frazier
Professor Kevin Frazier is an adjunct research fellow at the Cato Institute. His research focuses on the nexus of regulatory design, innovation policy, and constitutional law particularly as it relates to artificial intelligence (AI). He also leads the AI Innovation and Law Program at the University of Texas School of Law, and serves as a Senior Fellow at the Abundance Institute. He has testified before Congress on topics ranging from artificial intelligence to undersea cables and regularly advises state and federal policymakers on how to accelerate adoption of emerging technologies. He hosts the Scaling Laws podcast where he regularly discusses various tech policy issues. Kevin is originally from Beaverton, Oregon, and has a BS in economics from the University of Oregon, a JD from UC Berkeley School of Law, and a MPA from Harvard Kennedy School. Prior to joining the legal academy, he clerked for the Montana Supreme Court and conducted a research fellowship on AI.
