Justin Mitchell is a research associate for defense and foreign policy studies at the Cato Institute, where his research interests include Central Asia, Russia, and U.S. defense and national security policy.
He holds a B.A. in history, international relations, and Russian language, literature, and culture from Syracuse University, and an M.A. in international relations from the Maxwell School of Citizenship & Public Affairs.
