Damien M. Schiff

Damien M. Schiff is a senior attorney at the Pacific Legal Foundation, where he leads the organization’s Environment & Natural Resources practice. He represents landowners and property-rights advocates in high-profile environmental disputes and has argued landmark cases such as Sackett v. United States Environmental Protection Agency before the Supreme Court. Schiff’s scholarship, which focuses on the Endangered Species Act and Clean Water Act, has been published in law reviews and newspapers, and he frequently comments on environmental law issues in the national media. He earned his undergraduate degree from Georgetown University and his JD from the University of San Diego School of Law, graduating magna cum laude. Schiff clerked for Judge Victor Wolski of the US Court of Federal Claims.
