Christopher Gardner is a research associate in technology policy, studying AI, online free expression, and the application of antitrust law in the tech industry. Christopher graduated with distinction from the University of Virginia and holds a B.A. in Economics and a B.A. in Political Philosophy, Policy & Law. Before joining the Cato Institute, he was a Governor’s Fellow in the Office of Virginia Governor Youngkin, where he worked on streamlining and simplifying Virginia regulations in the Office of Regulatory Management.
