Happening today: Andrew Gillen, a research fellow at the Cato Institute, is testifying before the Senate HELP Committee on the state of higher education.

Gillen’s written testimony is available online here. In it, Gillen notes that “higher education has certainly seen better days. But with federal reforms that address issues with affordability, accountability, and innovation, we could turn the corner and unleash higher education to provide a better and more affordable education than we’ve ever seen before.”
