Matthew Kibbe praises the Tea Party movement.
Tea partiers are decentralized but organized. They believe in different things, but they are united by a belief that government is too large, spends too much and does too many things. Matthew Kibbe, president of FreedomWorks, believes that the Tea Party movement honors the best traditions in grassroots activism and advocacy. He and coauthor Dick Armey discussed their book, Give Us Liberty: A Tea Party Manifesto at the Cato Institute’s Hayek Auditorium September 14, 2010.
