How the FDA Made COVID-19 Worse (And How They Can Fix It)

U.S. Food and Drug Administration regulations allowed only one form of coronavirus test kit during the early stages of the pandemic. That test, produced by the Centers for Disease Control, was not only inefficient but also defective. FDA regulations also prohibited private labs from administering their own tests. More testing during this period could have prevented the spread of the disease and economic damage.
