Freedom: Art as the Messenger — Opening Reception

Special Event
April 11, 2019 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM EDT

Hayek Auditorium, Cato Institute

Freedom means something different to every person, yet its value is a common bond between Americans. In these polarized times, Freedom: Art as the Messenger aims to provide a unifying platform of civility and creativity. Artists from across the country — in a wide range of media — share innovative and thought‐provoking perspectives on freedom and the enduring need for its protection. Join us and the artists to celebrate the opening of the Cato Institute’s inaugural art exhibition. Prizes will be awarded for Best in Show, Second Place, and Third Place. Honorable mentions will also be recognized.

Curated by Harriet Lesser and June Linowitz.
