Forty years ago, the Cato Institute opened its doors as a new public policy research organization dedicated to liberty. Today, through our independent, nonpartisan research, books, magazines, worldwide events, vast online resources, and media outreach, Cato engages millions on the timeless principles of individual liberty, limited government, free markets and peace. And that’s something to celebrate!
On the occasion of Cato’s 40th anniversary, it is with great pleasure—and strengthened commitment to our work—that we invite you to join us to celebrate our proud history and the many exciting opportunities ahead to promote a free, open, and prosperous civil society.
