    On-site Registration: 8:30 – 9:00 a.m.

    Attire:
    Professional attire is appropriate for your presentation and the conference. The average high temperature in Washington, D.C. during June is 84 degrees Fahrenheit. The evening temperature may fall to about 66 degrees.

    HOTEL & TRAVEL:
    Please submit all travel requests by Monday, May 2.

    Hotel Information:
    Cato will cover room charges for up to 2 nights at the Morrison-Clark Inn based on the arrival and departure dates you provided below. Additional nights may be secured based on availability. The front desk will ask for a credit card upon check-in to cover incidentals. Reasonable expenses may be submitted to Cato for reimbursement.

    Please note that the hotel only has rooms with one queen or king bed.




  • The Morrison-Clark Inn is conveniently located across the street from the Cato Institute at 1011 L Street, N.W. Ronald Reagan National Airport (DCA) is the closest airport at approximately 4 miles and a $25 taxi fare. Dulles International (IAD) and Baltimore Washington International (BWI) are also options. Transfer information is available on the hotel’s website.


    Travel Information:

    Cato will cover the cost of advanced purchase coach airfare for those who require air travel accommodations. For those driving, Cato will reimburse mileage according to the 2016 Federal Standard Mileage Rate. Please submit receipts prior to September 15, 2016 to receive reimbursement.

  • Microphone: The stage set will provide you with a podium microphone for your presentation and a table-top microphone for Q&A.




  • Speaker Bios:
