Former Policy Analyst, Center for Educational Freedom, Cato Institute

Casey Lartigue is a former policy analyst with the Cato Institute’s Center for Educational Freedom in Washington, D.C. He is co‐​editor of the 2004 Cato Institute book Educational Freedom in Urban America: Half a Century after Brown v. Board of Education. He wrote two studies at Cato that were widely circulated and testified before the US Congress and the Washington DC Commission on Civil Rights.

Lartigue received a bachelor’s degree from the Harvard University Extension School and a master’s degree from the Harvard University Graduate School of Education.
