What the President Should Do: Employment-Based Green Cards

In his final year in office, President Obama should exercise his executive authority to streamline the lawful immigration system. President Obama could make some small adjustments to the employment based green card program that allows skilled immigrants to work in the United States.

“What the President Should Do” is a new series by the Cato Institute discussing what President Obama can do using executive authority his final year in office to make the U.S. a freer and happier place.
