Tyler Whirty is a research associate and project coordinator at the Cato Institute’s Center for Monetary and Financial Alternatives. He has worked as an intern in the Global Economics group at the U.S. Department of the Treasury, as a junior legal assistant for the International Trade group at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP, and as an intern in the U.S. House of Representatives. He received a BA in International Affairs with a concentration in International Economics from the Elliott School at The George Washington University.
