Education has been barely a blip on the election radar, but as I point out in a [piece on EdNews​.org ](http://ednews.org/articles/30319/1/Save-Parents-the-Lecture/Page1.html)today, it’s not a good sign for a possible Obama administration that when the candidate does talk about schooling he blames powerless parents for our problems, yet is dead set against giving parents the power they need to do something about them.
