# … and a Pony

The new [Wash​ing​ton​Watch​.com blog](http://www.washingtonwatch.com/blog) (a project of yours truly, which, [along with C@L](https://www.cato.org/2008/07/07/congress-to-ban-bedbugs-from-biting/), recently ignited a [firestorm of controversy](http://www.washingtonwatch.com/blog/2008/07/06/congress-to-ban-bedbugs-from-biting/) over federal [bed bug legislation](http://www.washingtonwatch.com/bills/show/110_HR_6068.html)) has inaugurated a new category of post, called “… and a Pony”.

It’s for bills in Congress promising what you’d ask Santa Claus for after you finished with the stuff you thought you might actually get.
