# Student Free Speech and the Supreme Court 

Does the First Amendment prohibit public school officials from regulating off‐​campus student speech? That’s the question before the Supreme Court in the case Mahanoy Area School District v. B. L. Join the Cato Institute’s Sphere Education Initiative and iCivics as we bring together a panel of leading legal scholars to discuss this pending case before the Supreme Court, the legal precedent informing the decision, and the potential impact on students and educators.
