# Addressing the Impacts of DEI

Diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) have become the topic of policy discussions across several aspects of society. DEI is now seen to have complex impacts, and policymakers are working to tackle this new area of policy in the public square. Please join us for a discussion with Senator Eric Schmitt (R‑MO) and Cato research fellow Erec Smith on the impacts of DEI on education, government, and society.
