##### Featuring

Featuring **Vijay Vaitheeswaran**, Energy and Environmental Correspondent, *The Economist* and Author, *Power to the People: How the Coming Energy Revolution Will Transform an Industry, Change Our Lives, and Maybe Even Save the Planet* (Farrar, Straus & Giroux, 2003).

Is there an energy revolution in the works? Vijay Vaitheeswaran, energy and environmental correspondent for *The Economist*, thinks so. In his new book *Power to the People*, Vaitheeswaran argues that the global liberalization of energy markets, the growing popular appeal of environmentalism, and a surge in technological innovation will end the oil and coal age and usher in a radically new energy era characterized by Green “micropower.” Is Vaitheeswaran right? Come judge for yourself.
