Please join us for a virtual policy conversation with Chris Sununu, the governor of New Hampshire. In the past two years, Governor Sununu and the State of New Hampshire have topped Cato’s rankings for both our Fiscal Policy Report Card on America’s Governors and our recently released [*Freedom in the 50 States*](https://www.freedominthe50states.org/) report. The online discussion will feature Governor Sununu and William Ruger and Jason Sorens (authors of the *Freedom in the 50 States* report).

### *[Freedom in the 50 States](https://www.freedominthe50states.org)*

This 2021 edition of *Freedom in the 50 States* presents a completely revised and updated ranking of the American states on the basis of how their policies promote freedom in the fiscal, regulatory, and personal realms. Authors William Ruger and Jason Sorens introduce many new policy variables suggested by readers and changes in the broader policy environment (for example, vaping regulations). More than 230 policy variables and their sources remain available to the public for the study.
