A May 1st Federalist Society [lunch](http://www.fed-soc.org/events/eventid.1495/event_detail.asp) will feature William Kristol, Editor of the *Weekly Standard* speaking on “The Obama Administration and the War on Terror.” Hopefully, it will be a [fair-minded inquiry](https://www.cato.org/2009/02/23/the-federalist-societys-war-on-terror/) into the utility of the “war” metaphor for combating and suppressing terrorism.
