Over at [Downsizing the Federal Government](http://www.downsizinggovernment.org/), we focused on the following issues this past week:

- There are bigger budgetary fish to fry than [how much Congress spends](http://www.downsizinggovernment.org/congresss-budget-perspective) on itself.
- I’ve been looking for serious proposals from members of Congress to [terminate programs](http://www.downsizinggovernment.org/looking-serious-program-terminations). I’m not finding much.
- The federal government’s involvement in [education](http://www.downsizinggovernment.org/four-more-things-washington-shouldn%E2%80%99t-do) should be ended—not reformed.
- Chris Edwards on the flaws in the data being used in the [income inequality](http://www.downsizinggovernment.org/income-inequality-data-has-flaws) debate.
- The [U.S. Postal Service](http://www.downsizinggovernment.org/usps-sends-a-message-congress) sends a message to Congress.
