The House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform held a [hearing](http://www.nytimes.com/2007/01/31/washington/31interfere.html?_r=1&oref=slogin) yesterday on the Bush Admininstration’s handling of climate science. Roger Pielke Jr. of the University of Colorado testified. He described in views on the role of science in policy decisions in a recent issue of *[Regulation](https://www.cato.org/pubs/regulation/regv29n1/v29n1-4.pdf)*.
