Interesting to see that the influential *Time* magazine endorses an “all imperialist, all the time” approach to looking at the five year anniversary of 9/11.

*Time* draws on the broad range of experts [from](http://www.time.com/time/magazine/article/0,9171,1531332,00.html) Max “[Case for American Empire](http://www.weeklystandard.com/Utilities/printer_preview.asp?idArticle=318)” Boot all the way [over to](http://www.time.com/time/magazine/article/0,9171,1531303,00.html) Niall “[The United States Is and Should Be an Empire](http://www.aei.org/events/filter.,eventID.428/summary.asp)” Ferguson, who is, frighteningly, a [foreign policy adviser](http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/print?id=2384053) to John “[Sophisticated Plan for Iraq](http://observer.com/20060529/20060529_Jason_Horowitz_politics_newsstory1.asp)” McCain.

*Time* really went out of its way to get at both sides of the issue there! You can have it either way: Empire or Empire!
