Today I saw a John Edwards bumper sticker — the first one I can really recall — on a beautiful Audi convertible parked in a luxury development in a wealthy suburb of Washington, D.C. Just an idle question: Do you think it’s more likely that this John Edwards supporter is part of Edwards’s much touted constituency of [mill workers](https://www.cato.org/2007/03/26/billionaires-and-mill-workers/) and “regular, hard-working Americans” or of Edwards’s real constituency of [trial lawyers](http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2007/08/01/AR2007080100262.html?tid=informbox) and lobbyists?
