Former DIA Near East chief Col. Pat Lang’s post on [the trouble in which Israel currently finds itself](http://turcopolier.typepad.com/sic_semper_tyrannis/2006/08/the_tabouleh_li.html) is worth reading. Lang fears that Israel may be walking right into a trap set by Hizbullah.

For those interested in the conflict, Lang’s analysis is always interesting and comes from a self-described “[libertarian conservative](http://turcopolier.typepad.com/sic_semper_tyrannis/2005/12/the_threat_and_.html).”
