In a [previous post](https://www.cato.org/2009/06/11/beyond-irony/), I noted the irony of taking advice from Karl Rove on how to fight big government. It appears that Rove is not alone in having a battlefield conversion. According to the *Wall Street Journal*, the Chamber of Commerce [is planning to spend ](http://online.wsj.com/article/SB124467571817103985.html#)$100 million as part of a “Campaign for Free Enterprise.” This sounds great, and I hope it helps, but is it rude of me to point out that this is the same organization that endorsed the bailout last year and the so-called stimulus this year?
