# The Arrogance of Power

Federal prosecutor wants a federal judge [to order citizens to stop talking to the media ](http://cjonline.com/stories/040508/kan_265279159.shtml)about a case. In extraordinary circumstances, a judge can order the attorneys in a particular case to stop talking to the media … but a censorship order to *other people?!* Even if the judge promptly rejects this request, we should all be troubled that this was even attempted. This prosecutor should be shown the door right away.
