Make Cato Your Start Page

You can set your Web browser to automatically start at the Cato Institute's web page. Please follow the instructions below to set your browser's preferences:

With Internet Explorer:

Choose the "Tools" menu, then select "Internet Options", then select the "General" tab. In the "Address" field in the "Home Page" section, type in "http://www.cato.org" without the quotation marks. Click Ok.

With Netscape (Communicator)

Choose "Edit" on the menu bar, then select "Preferences." Click on "Navigator." There is a check-box for "Navigator Starts With," check "home page." Under "Location" enter "http://www.cato.org/" in the box.

With Netscape (Navigator)

Choose "Options" on the menu bar, then select "General Preferences". In the "Appearance" section, there is an option for "Browser Starts With:" and a check-box for "Home Page Location:". Check "Home Page Location" and enter "http://www.cato.org/" in the box.

With America Online:

Choose "Prefs", then enter "http://www.cato.org/" in the "Home Page" box.
