Environment and Climate

Cato's environment and climate studies program promotes policies that would help protect the environment without sacrificing economic liberty, goals that are mutually supporting, not mutually exclusive. Cato scholars address a wide range of energy and environmental issues -- from sustainable development, global warming, public lands management, chemical risk assessment, ecosystem health, urban sprawl, pollution, and general regulatory reform.
