Sam Peltzman teaches at the Graduate School of Business at the University of Chicago and is director of the George J. Stigler Center for the Study of the Economy and State. He is an expert on regulation and voting behavior and author of Political Participation and Government Regulation (University of Chicago Press, 1998).
