Nouh El Harmouzi is the Editor of Misbahalhurriyya.org, the Arabic language project of the Cato Institute. He has taught macroeconomics and development theory, and his academic work focuses on developing economies, mainly in North Africa and the Middle East. His research is focused on institutional dynamics, ideological beliefs, and their relationship with the process of development. He was an intern at the Cato Institute where he worked on Misbahalhurriyya.org, was formerly public relations manager for UnMondeLibre.org, the Cato Institute’s French language project, and has worked on the New Economics Summer University in France, sponsored by the Cato Institute’s European partner, IES-Europe. He received his Doctorate in Economics from the Faculté d'Economie Appliquée, Paul Cezanne University in Aix-en-Provence, France.
