Tibor Machan was smuggled out of Hungary in 1953 when he was 14 and emigrated to the United States in 1956. He is a philosopher, a Hoover Institution research fellow, and a professor at the Argyros School of Business and Economics at Chapman University. Machan is widely published and is the author of several books on classical liberalism and libertarianism.
