Elizabeth Karasmeighan is budget policy analyst at the Cato Institute. Prior to joining Cato, she worked as senior policy analyst for Americans for Tax Reform, where she worked on federal and state/local fiscal policy issues. Karasmeighan, a Connecticut native, holds a bachelor's degree in economics from Trinity University.
