Elizabeth Karasmeighan is a former budget policy analyst at the Cato Institute. Prior to joining Cato, she worked as senior policy analyst for Americans for Tax Reform, where she worked on federal and state/local fiscal policy issues. Karasmeighan, a Connecticut native, holds a bachelor's degree in economics from Trinity University.
