Freshman Class Policy Series
ABOUT THE PROGRAM
The freshman class of the 112th Congress faces a host of difficult challenges — a massive federal debt, foreign entanglements that have cost us greatly in blood and treasure, and unsustainable entitlement programs that will impose trillions of dollars of liabilities on future generations, just to name a few.
To help staffers working for freshmen members address these and other critical issues, the Cato Institute presents the Freshman Class Policy Series. In these six briefings, Cato scholars will provide insights and analysis accumulated from years of research and experience. The presentations will enhance understanding of key public policies and their impact — positive, adverse, and other — on the tenets of individual liberty and the Constitutionally defined vision of limited government Cato is dedicated to protecting.
All sessions will be held in B-338 Rayburn House Office Building
12:00p.m. — 1:30p.m.
Lunch is included
The program was designed for congressional staffers working for freshmen, though we welcome all full-time staffers to attend.
To register, please check the sessions you plan to attend, and submit your registration information below. The Cato Freshman Class Policy Series is free of charge.
