This week the Supreme Court of the United States will have ended October Term 2002 with a dramatic flourish, having issued major opinions in the Michigan affirmative action cases, the Texas sodomy case, the Nike commercial speech case, and the American Library Association obscenity case. These opinions, along with earlier decisions involving federalism, criminal law, campaign finance, punitive damages, cross-burning, and copyright, combined to make the just-ended term one of the most closely watched in recent memory. Join us for a spirited review of the major cases and themes of the Court's 2002-2003 term.
