The Cato University Seminar Registration fee includes all lectures and discussions, readings, and meals (breakfasts, luncheons, receptions, and dinners for six days). Some scholarships are available for full-time students. The registration fee does not include your room and tax, incidentals (such as phone calls or room service), or transportation.

Hotel and Travel Information

The Rancho Bernardo Inn, 17550 Bernardo Oaks Drive, San Diego, California is located north of San Diego just 30 minutes from downtown and the San Diego Airport. The resort is 30 minutes by taxi from the airport for a fee is approximately $75 one way. Alternate transportation can be arranged through Cloud 9 shared van service for $26 per person one-way by calling (619) 564-900. 24 hour advance notice is required. Self parking is complimentary. Valet parked vehicles will be charged $12 per night.

The resort offers 18 holes of golf on-site, full service spa, swimming pools, tennis, fitness center, and plenty of room for long walks. Rancho Bernardo Inn also offers a children's program Camp RBI for ages 4-17. Please contact the resort to reserve tee times, to schedule spa services, or to inquire about Camp RBI at (877) 517-9340. Cato University Scholarship Program

Cato University is an opportunity for high school, college, and postgraduate full-time students to explore their interest in the classical liberal principles of individual liberty, free enterprise, and limited government. Students must submit an application for review by committee. The basic cost per scholarship student is $1,437, based on double or triple occupancy.
